Nabha Natesh
Nabha Natesh is an Indian actress and model who primarily works in the Telugu and Kannada film industries.She gained significant popularity for her breakout role in the 2019 film iSmart Shankar, which earned her the media nickname "iSmart Beauty."
Early Life and Career Beginnings
Before entering the film industry, Nabha Natesh had a strong background in dance and theater. She trained in Bharatanatyam and frequently choreographed and competed in dance competitions during her school and college days.
Her acting journey began in theater under the guidance of National Award-winning director Prakash Belawadi, and she also trained at Abhinaya Taranga. In addition to acting, she pursued modeling and gained recognition in 2013 when she placed in the Top 11 of the Femina Miss India Bangalore pageant, where she also won the "Miss Intellectual" award.
Acting Career
- Kannada Debut: Nabha made her lead acting debut at the age of 19 in the Kannada film Vajrakaya (2015) alongside actor Shiva Rajkumar. The film was a massive success, running for over 100 days in multiple theaters, and her performance earned her a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – Kannada.
- Telugu Debut and Breakthrough: She transitioned to Telugu cinema in 2018 with Nannu Dochukunduvate, where she was highly praised for her energetic screen presence. However, her true breakthrough came in 2019 with the commercial hit iSmart Shankar.
- Continued Success: She went on to secure leading roles in several other Telugu films, sharing the screen with prominent actors in movies like Solo Brathuke So Better, Disco Raja, and Maestro.
